Greg is presently the Lead Pastor of a new growing church-plant “Rise Church” in San Marcos Ca. (www.RiseSanMarcos.com)

Greg grew up in Southern California and became a Christian at the age of sixteen. At the age of twenty, Pastor Chuck Smith invited Greg to be on staff at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. He was ordained at twenty one.

At twenty-four, Greg became the Lead Pastor of a growing and influential Calvary Chapel in Northern California- spearheading yearly regional evangelistic outreaches, that culminated in large-scale evangelistic crusades impacting thousands at Arco Arena in Sacramento.

Greg has been a national conference speaker at the Billy Graham Training Center, “The Cove”.

A featured evangelist at a Billy Graham sponsored Crusade in Shillong, India.

Along with Ambassadors from Israel and South Korea, a featured speaker commemorating the life of evangelical William Blackstone (called the “Father of Zionism” by Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis).

Greg is the author of “God’s Design for Dating, Love and Sex”, “A Progress Plan” and “Staying On Target” (with endorsements from Alistair Begg, Franklin Graham and Kent Hughes) and the discipleship series, “Get Started” and “Get Launched”. His newest book, “Rediscovering The Original Jesus Movement (How 1st Century Context Clarifies God’s Plan & Course Corrects The Church Today)” fall of 2023.
